The actor-turned-politician John Dumelo has praised his colleague Yvonne Nelson for telling the world in her biography “I am not Yvonne Nelson” who she really is.
John Dumelo stated that telling one’s own story is always preferable to making up fake facts about persons one does not fully know.
When the book was ultimately released and passages were given to the public, the actor said in an interview that he wasn’t shocked by the response of fans and critics.

“I think it’s very important for us to tell our own stories so that people don’t come and tell our stories for us, it’s very encouraging what she has done and of course, I will encourage a lot of people to do it, she released much than anticipated but it’s good”, he noted.
John Dumelo also stated that he is aware of most of the secrets Yvonne Nelson revealed in her book.
“I was privy to some of the revelation she made in her book, so I wasn’t surprised by some of the tweets about it and about what it’s going on in her life.”
He urged all his colleagues in the entertainment industry to follow Yvonne Nelson’s path to write more books to throw light on either their personal experiences in life or happenings in society to entertain and educate others.
