Message from Otto Addo to the incoming
The former Ghanaian international asserts that the new coach must have confidence in his capacity to carry out his strategies despite any pressure he may encounter.
Addo announced his resignation following the Black Stars’ 2-0 loss to Uruguay in their last group encounter at the Al Janoub Stadium.
After defeating South Korea in their final group match, the Black Stars needed a win or a draw against Uruguay to advance to the round of 16.
He advised the player to “be himself, carry out his ideas regardless of anyone tries to stand in his way, but he should listen to his coaching staff, follow their advice, and if there is anything I can do to help, I am always there.”
“I will offer guidance and support for my homeland.” “[He] should be bold and not pay too much attention to the negative.”
The Black Stars will now concentrate on the last several Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
