Who Is Nadia Buari
Nadia Buari was born to a Ghanaian mother and a Lebanese father in Sekondi-Takoradi, the oil capital of Ghana. She studied performing arts at the University of Ghana after attending Mfantsiman Girls’ Secondary School in the Central Region. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree upon graduation. She participated heavily in the theater and dance clubs at the University of Ghana.
In late 2005, Nadia Buari made her television debut on Ghana’s main network with the show Games People Play. She starred in Beyonce: The President’s Daughter after starring in Mummy’s Daughter, her first significant motion picture.
Her big break came from her part as “Beyonce”. In 2005, she made her film debut in the TV series Games People Play, for which she received a nomination for best actress. She has acted in almost 20 motion pictures.
The Diary of Imogene Brown, her own film, was released in 2013. In the 2023 film Coming Africa: Welcome to Ghana, the renowned actress made her acting debut alongside Ghanaian Kumawood actress and TV celebrity Nana Ama McBrown.
