Football Legend Patrice Evra Jailed for 12 Months on the charge of family abandonment in France.
The former captain of the France team, Patrice Evra Jailed for 12 Months after he was found guilty by a criminal court and sentenced to 12 months in prison with suspended probation.
According to Transfer News Live the Manchester United legend will be in prison for 12 months with suspended probation. This came as a surprise to his fans as there wasn’t anyone expecting this type of sentence for the French man.

In 2023, Patrice Evra, a former football player for Manchester United and France, was found guilty of making derogatory remarks about homosexuals on the internet on Thursday.
The 41-year-old former Red Devils captain was not present in court on one of the court days and he was forced to pay €2000 (£1780) in compensation to two anti-hate campaign groups and fined €1000 (£890).
