Lil Win Details Why He Chose Nollywood Superstars Over Ghanaian Actors For His Movie, Fans React

Lil Win’s film will have its national premiere on April 17 at Accra’s National Theatre, among three other locations.

A presenter in a film promotional interview questioned Lil Win’s reasoning for favoring Nollywood celebrities over Ghanaians; the actor has refuted this claim multiple times since filming started.

According to Lil Win, he has produced numerous movies featuring an all-Ghanaian cast, from Mr President to Cocoa Season.

The actor purposefully included celebrities and socialites, such as Jupitar and Fameye, in the majority of them, but the films didn’t receive the same level of attention as his upcoming film has so far.

Lil Win recalled how movie producers were frequently criticized by fans and other celebrities for being “one way.” He is perplexed by these criticisms now that he is attempting to liven things up with A Country Called Ghana.

“The total film crew for A Country Called Ghana is about 150, with only three Nigerians, so why are still people complaining?” Lil Win quizzed during the interview

The Ghanaian actor expressed that his decision to feature Ramsey Nouah, Victor Osuwagu and Charles Awuram in A Country Called Ghana is a dream come true and an intentional effort to deepen the exchange between both movie nations.
