Many Ghanaians assume that highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena is homosexual. This is due to the way he appears in public.
His clothing style represents a member of the LGBTQ community. Kwabena Kwabena has been widely chastised after photos of him on the VGMA 2023 red carpet went online.

In a recent interview with ZionFelix, the musician set the record right. The singer denied being homosexual.
He stated that being homosexual is not a club that individuals can join. Gay males, he claims, have feelings for their fellow guys, something he does not have.
Kwabena Kwabena stated that he has never felt compassion for his fellow man.

He defended himself, saying that wearing a certain garment does not make him gay, and that such a comment from his detractors is terrible and uninformed.
The prominent Ghanaian artist also said that he had his three children with women, proving that he is not gay.
