One of the G.O.A.T rappers in Ghana, Sarkodie has made it clear that he doesn’t even know the number of awards he has won so far in his career.
Sarkodie is one of the finest rappers in Africa, many consider him the best in Africa and there is no doubt about that as his works can testify to this claim. In his entire career, the Ghanaian sensational rapper hasn’t worked under any record label.
He is the owner of SarkCess Music where he personally signed Akwaboah and Strongman, he has officially won over 100 awards since his introduction into the music scene over a decade ago, he was discovered by Dr. Duncan on Kasahare Levels on Adom FM.
He was recently interviewed on Tim Westwood TV and the best rapper in Africa made it known that he has no idea the number of awards he has so far when he was asked about the number of awards he has won.
“I only get updates about the number of awards I have won through my Twitter fans Page, and that’s where I get to know the exact number of Awards won”, he said.
But from our own research, we can say that Sarkodie has officially won a total of 107 awards which makes him the most decorated rapper in Africa. From statistics, Sarkodie has received 107 awards from 191 nominations, including 25 Ghana Music Awards.
