The video shared showed the magnificent mansion of Jackie Appiah where she was seen giving the Nigerian actress a tour of her house in Trassacco. A lot of people reacted to the video. While some expressed shock and applauded the actress, others attributed her achievements to something negative.

Amidst the brouhaha, journalist Nana Aba Anamoah has taken to her page to berate critics who attribute the success of people to something negative. According to her, some people attribute the success of men to sakawa while the achievements of women to prostitution.

She wrote;

“When you make it as a man in this country, they attribute it to sakawa or drugs. You make it as a woman, you’re ashawo. People who do this are permanently stuck in a snakepit. Wake up from the folly and attempt to make your life better too. God be with us all”.
