The reason why Nana Boroo caused Chef Smith‘s arrest during his press conference about the result from GWR regarding his longest cooking marathon record attempt has been revealed by the management of Amadia Shopping Center.
A fresh press release from the owner of Amadia Shopping Center (Mrs. Nana Ama Dua Duodu), reveals how Chef Smith illegally breached their contract and why Nana Boroo sent Ghana police to arrest him during his press conference.
On Hitz FM, Benny who is the manager of Chef Smith made it known that the arrest was led by a Ghanaian famous musician, Nana Boro who claims that the Ghanaian Chef owes him some amount of money.
“A few minutes into the programme, some people came to us. One identified himself as Nana Boro, the musician and one or two people. Apparently, their issue was that they were part of the old team that one way or the other supported Chef Smith during the cook-a-thon and that Chef Smith is owing them and until he settles them, he won’t allow the press conference to come on,” the manager told Dr Pounds on Tuesday.
The manager further explained that despite pleas to resolve the matter after the ceremony, the security personnel did not budge, leading to the cook’s eventual arrest.
Meanwhile, Guinness World Records have come out to confirm that Chef Smith’s certificate is fake. They even added that they were not aware of his longest cooking marathon attempt by an individual.
