The late Nigerian musician Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi, has not stopped grieving for her husband since his passing on a dismal Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
It should be mentioned that Mohbad passed away at the age of 27, leaving his wife and their child, Liam, with profound emotional wounds.
Police were investigating the circumstances surrounding the singer’s death after his body was discovered on September 21, 2023, sparking controversy surrounding his passing. The results of the post-mortem examination performed on the former Marlian singer were supposed to be made public in three to four weeks.
After his passing, a number of claims surfaced, with some detractors asserting that the child was not Mohbad’s. This led to calls for a DNA test to support or refute these assertions.
In a recent development, Omowunmi turned to her Instagram account to say that no one deserves what she is going through.
Mourning Mohbad, she remarked that Liam will be clocking a year without the presence of his father.
She went on to express how much she misses her ‘baby’, Mohbad, indicating that she’s much pain.
She stated, “No girl deserves to go through this, and I would not wish this misery on my enemy.
Liam will turn one year old in a few weeks without his father.”
