Mohammed Salisu’s joining the team will help boost our defence department because playing against a World class team like Portugal and Uruguay is not an easy task at talk considering our squad. Even the team did not have it easy on a silver platter playing Nigeria in Abuja last Tuesday on March 29, 2022. Nigerian attackers did not make our defenders to even rest than that of C. Ronaldo, Diego Forlan and Suarez. We need players who can stand on these world cup attackers.

To him, though Salisu has turned down on us during the AFCON tournament which was held in Cameroon recently but this is the time we need to consider him again. Mohammed Salisu in Southampton won the player of the month in January and February respectively for his club. When we have Salisu in the team, it will be a green light for us against Portugal and Uruguay.
