Kotoko vs Hearts of Oak encounter sees Referee Kennedy Padi suspended for the rest of the season after the GFA Review Panel found him to have erred in the penalty decision against Hearts of Oak in the #SuperClash this month.
Padi said that Hearts player stepped on the foot of Kotoko’s player and later agreed that there was nothing like that after watching the video again.
He then defended that there was a push and pull at a point which the video showed that it was not the case.
The penalty went a long way to make the difference in the fierce encounter as Kotoko defeated Hearts of Oak by a goal to nill.
Accra Hearts of Oak on the other hand wrote to the FA to investigate the call by the referee and upon further review, the panel decided that it was a wrong call from referee Kennedy Padi.
