Ghanaian actress and social media influencer Rosemond Brown, known in the media space as Akuapem Poloo jailed 90 days as the court throws out her appeal.
Akuapen Poloo was sentenced to serve three months jail terms after her naked picture with his son who turned 7 – years old went viral on the internet.
The renowned actress and social media influencer was arrested and was been charged with “obscene material and domestic violence” by the Accra Circuit court.
Rosemond Brown’s lawyer filed for an appeal to the court to challenge the 90-day jail term verdict of the court.
According to information reaching us, the Criminal Division of the court presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey upheld the Circuit court decision on grounds that the Circuit court’s decision was not manifestly excessive.
“This court will not interfere and the appeal is therefore dismissed,” Justice Aryee said.
The court ordered that in the absence of the convict, Akuapem Poloo’s child should be given to any competent person in the family to take care of.
