Veteran actor and movie expert Ekow Blankson, was given a befitting send off, after a profound internment ceremony at Tema on Saturday, December 17, 2022. The burial service saw dozens of celebrities including Jackie Appiah, Fred Amugi, Gloria Sarfo, Oscar Provencal, Selassie Ibrahim, and others, register their presence in mourning of their late colleague.
A video, as well as photographs have surfaced via social media, showing how the celebrities came to offer their final respects to their deceased colleague.
The remains of the Ghanaian actor, was laid to eternal rest. The 50-year-old veteran was entombed in a private internment service on Saturday, December 17, 2022.
Before the final burial rites, a pre-entombment and internment service was held at the Full Gospel Church, EMC branch in Tema.
The burial service for Ekow Blankson saw various high-profile movie stars, joining other considerable number of grievers to say goodbye to their colleague.
Among the actresses who came to offer their final respects to the departed, were Jackie Appiah, Gloria Sarfo, Beverly Afaglo, Roselyn Ngissah, and Selassie Ibrahim. Videos have surfaced via social media, showing various time records of these actresses at the service.
In one of the videos shared via Selassie Ibrahim’s Instagram page, the actresses were spotted together behind one camera for a selfie moment. Jackie was noted mentioning the names of her colleagues around her at the juncture.
