Gyakie is a Ghanaian young musician. Known in real life as Jackline Achampong. She hails from Bomso in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
Born on 16th December 1998, Ghana was exposed to the music world at the age of 8 when she use to follow her father to the studio. Gyakie got the attention of the Ghana music industry players with her hit song titled Never like this. She is currently signed to Sony Music entertainment.
She the daughter of popular Ghanaian musician Nana Achampong. She hails from Bomso in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. She also happens to be the niece of Legendary Musician Daddy Lumba.
Gyakie is a yooung Ghanaian Musician. She has a net worth of $200,000 dollars as at 2022.
Her basic school is not yet known. She completed T.I Ahmadiyya Senior High School in Kumasi. She then did her undergraduate at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). She majored in International business.
She was born into a family of musicians and by age eight, she had started joining her father in the studio. Her first single “Love is Pretty” was released in February 2019 and then went on to release “Never Like This”. She later released a five-track EP, titled Seed in August 2020 which enjoyed massive airplay in Ghana, Nigeria and Kenya.
She has signed an international record deal with Sony Music entertainment, RCA Records UK and Sony Music Africa.
She won the 2021 3music awards Emerging Woman of the Year.
She also won the 2022 3music awards Woman of the Year.
She won the 2022 VGMA International Collaboration of the Year with Forever remix with Omah Lay.
