Ghanaian US-based artiste, Britney Boateng, has been tragically shot dead, abandoning her 2-year-old daughter after the incident.
Tyona and Britney were engaged in a fierce argument that led to a fight or a squabble before the shooting, as per the account of the police.
The contention happened between herself and her sister-in-law on November 21, at 1 am, resulting in her getting fatally shot to death by her sister-in-law.
Columbus police indicated that they were called around 1 a.m. to the East Side on a report about a shooting incident.
At the point when the officials arrived at the scene, they found the deceased, Britney Boateng, 22, of the Southeast Side, with a bullet wound. Boateng was confirmed dead at the scene by paramedics.
Tyona Dodson, 41, the sister-in-law of the deceased musician, has been apprehended for the fatal shooting that took place during the early hours in East Columbus.
However, the police have arrested 41-year-old Tyona Dunkle of the East Side, on murder charges.
Moreover, she is booked to make her official court appearance on Tuesday morning.
