The Deputy Finance Minister, John Kumah has cautioned individuals and businesses against rejecting mobile money payments for transactions.
His caution comes after many people made complaints that some individuals and businesses are refusing to accept payments via mobile money services due to the implementation of the controversiallevy.
Reacting to these complaints, the deputy minister stated that the government actually anticipated this in the early stages of the implementation of the E-Levy adding that since it is a new thing the public is expected to be a bit skeptical, however, with time they will get to understand the whole E-levy better.
