Popular media personality, Abeiku Santana appointed as the Deputy CEO of Ghana Tourism Authority
Ghanaian sensational media personality, Abeiku Santana appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) by President John Mahama.
Abeiku Santana’s appointment is one of the most important in Ghana’s tourism industry since he has been immensely contributing to the growth of the industry for many years.

Santana is the CEO of Kaya Tours, a well-known tour operator in Ghana, and is commonly referred to as “Mr. Tourism.” Through his efforts, he has significantly contributed to the growth of both domestic and foreign travel, establishing Ghana as one of Africa’s premier travel destinations.
His many media appearances, tourism campaigns, and advocacy efforts to support the industry’s expansion have all demonstrated his passion for the travel and tourist industry.

Many people have praised his appointment, especially those involved in the sector. He is a proud member of the Tour Operators Union of Ghana (TOUGHA), which has praised the move and called him a visionary who will infuse the Ghana Tourism Authority with creativity and vitality.

With this new role, Abeiku Santana is expected to work closely with the CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority to implement policies and initiatives that will boost tourism revenue, promote sustainable tourism, and enhance Ghana’s visibility on the global tourism map.
Many industry players believe that his media influence, business acumen and extensive network will be instrumental in driving the government’s vision of making tourism one of Ghana’s major economic pillars.
