A wedding ceremony in Nairobi turned into a dramatic and heartbreaking scene over the weekend as an angry wife burst into the wedding place and confronted her husband – only a few seconds before he could make it to the altar with another woman and say the I do.
In an already viral video shared on social media, the obviously upset woman proceeded to the wedding venue with her two young children.
The outrageous intrusion played out at the altar in the presence of amazed wedding guests unaware that the groom was a married man.
The woman, holding her toddler in her arms and the hand of her older child, believed to be approximately four years old, walked to the groom and yelled at him.
She told the congregation that I am his legal wife a statement that left the crowd gasping in disarray.
A few seconds later, she hit the groom numerous times in the presence of all the people and walked out of the venue. This was not the end of her anger- she went further to tear off the floral decoration on the wedding car of the groom as a final outburst.
The use of social media has left all of its users stunned and sympathetic especially when it was reported that the man had allegedly been given 300,000 South African rands (roughly GHS 170,000) by his wife.

However, he had allegedly told everybody that he needed the money to pay bail but instead spent it on funding the wedding with another woman.
The viral video has sparked up enormous conversation on the internet with many identifying the moves of the groom as deceptive and inhuman.
One commenter posed this question: “How can you betray someone who supported you, lent you money and took care of your children?“
However, others were blaming the wife for having made such a public outburst; the children were never supposed to have witnessed this humiliating event.
Nonetheless, most of them commended her boldness in facing the infidelity squarely and revealing the facts before the exchange of any vows.
Despite the dust settling down, it is ambiguous whether the man will continue living as a free man, both legally and emotionally.
There is one thing that is beyond doubt: his big day did not culminate in a kiss but in a scandal that will not easily be forgotten by the internet.
