Many people weren’t expecting the National Democratic Congress to recover from the close to 1 million votes difference defeat at the hands of the NPP. The NDC part and John Mahama have also taken the advantage of his thank-you tour to their party for the next election.

John Mahama as part of his tour visited the Oti Region where he spoke to NDC stakeholders in the party, the former president said that many feel he came from nowhere to become president. He explained that he has had to work his way from national service, cadre, MP, minister, and Vice President before becoming president.

The former president also made it clear that he can quietly retire and go to his village for some rest but the way things are hard in the country he needs to return and help Ghanaians.
