Thomas Tuchel has been handed full control over player targets and also sales by Todd Boehly in a meeting.
Thomas Tuchel has been promised that he can take the lead on Chelsea’s transfer business by the club’s new owners in a shift designed to move closer to the Manchester City and Liverpool models.
Chelsea’s new owners are prepared to give Tuchel around £200million to spend this summer, although more could be made available by significant player sales.
Following the exit of Rudiger, Chelsea looks set to bolster their team for the upcoming season. Chelsea will be looking forward to bringing Kounde of Sevilla to the Stamford Bridge as they look set to close in the gap on Liverpool and Man City next season.
