Qatar 2022: Stonebwoy Accuses GFA Officials Over Unscrupulous Selection Of Players For The Upcoming Tournament

Similar to the manner in which numerous Ghanaians who have welcomed Ghana’s final 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup competition have a broad viewpoint of opinions, Stonebwoy has also in the heat of the moment, risen to express his thoughts.

In a new post seen on his Twitter page, Stonebwoy blamed the Ghana Football Association (GFA) of corruption, charging up with the logic that there’s been a deliberate exclusion of some vital players, capable of making the squad more formidable against their contenders, but have sadly been taken out due to selfish interests on the part of the management.

He alleged that some players were kicked out on the grounds that they didn’t ‘Pay to Play.’

He registered his displeasure on Twitter, by saying, “There are players who are supposed to be in the squad who are not here because of #PayToPlay @ghanafaofficial why?”

Comprised in Otto Addo’s 26-man squad are Andre Ayew, Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew, Baba Rahman, Alexander Djiku, Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey, and Daniel Amartey.

Danlad Ibrahim and Daniel Afriyie Barnieh are the only two players handpicked from the Ghana Premiere League, while Salis Abdul Samed and Kamal Sowah are for the first time representing their nation on an international scale.
