Seven years and three months after scoring his first-ever club goal for FC Barcelona against Albacete in May 2005, Lionel Messi, now 36, celebrated his most recent milestone.
Messi scored his first club goal at the age of 17, becoming him the youngest player in La Liga history to do so.
With 28 goals since joining the team at Les Parc Des Princes in 2021, his most recent goal brought his total at PSG to 62.
His longtime rival Cristiano Ronaldo, who played his final season during his second spell at Manchester United, is now in the same league as him.
He was the wizard and prolific goal scorer for La Liga’s FC Barcelona, tallying 672 goals in 778 games.
The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner went on to win Argentina’s World Cup after defeating France on penalties in the final in Qatar in 2021, after leaving Barcelona for PSG.

After Kylian Mbappe had given Les Parsiens the lead at the Stadium Velodrome in the opening minute, he scored against Marseille in the 28th minute. In the end of regulation, the France International scored once more to make it 3-0.
