Kevin Taylor Sends Strong Message To John Agyekum Kuffour On His Birthday

Kevin Taylor is a US-based Ghanaian journalist. His full name is known to be Kevin Ekow Taylor, and we are here today because of an unusual birthday message from him to the former president, John Agyekum Kuffour, on his birthday.

Kevin Taylor got all the attention on social media after posting a photo of former President H.E. John Kofi Agyekum Kufuor, and in his caption to the photo, Kevin Taylor stated that former President John Agyekum Kufuor is 83 years old today, and he wishes him strength and good health, but he has multiple questions to ask him.

Without wasting time, see what he wrote below.

“Happy Birthday to Ghana’s Former President H.E. John Kofi Agyekum Kufuor. He is 83 today, and we wish him strength and good health. But Sir, as a former president who is passionate about your country, Ghana, have you been following happenings in the country now that your party, the NPP, is in power, being led by Akufo Addo and Bawumia?

You are the first president to have come from the NPP, and your achievements were what Akufo-Addo relied on heavily to become president. Mr. Former, as today marks your birthday, it’s only natural we ask questions on your contribution as a statesman.

Respectfully, Mr. President, I want to ask, Sir are you really impressed with your new set of NPP leadership, or have you become an alligator? Do you see no evil or hear no evil now? You made a lot of noise about Rawlings killing people, and it is something at the least chance you get to speak, even now, you point at.

But just a year ago, your party, the NPP, led by Akufo Addo, killed eight Ghanaians, some of whom were minors, just to rig the election to stay in power. Did you hear that? Or because none of these young folks who were killed are your direct relatives, do they not matter to you?

You can be pardoned for being a hypocrite in your active political days, but as someone who now has seen it all in your 80s gracefully heading towards your 90s, it’s shocking you don’t seem to care about the direction Ghana is being moved towards.

The only time Ghanaians like myself (Kevin Taylor) hear from you is when elections are approaching, and for it to look like the NPP is united, they dress you up, put cameras on you, and then force you to campaign for the party even when you know deep down in your heart that they are a mess and have not delivered. You have become that grandfather who simply does not care about what happens to his grandchildren.

Your colleague, former President Rawlings, was not perfect, but at times he felt his party, the NDC, was messing things up, he spoke about it and made Ghanaians understand he is not in support of what his party is doing to the general masses.

Kevin Taylor said” Today is your birthday, sir; hence, it wouldn’t be fair to call you a hypocrite. But lastly, are you really proud deep in your heart of the performance of Akufo Addo as president and what he has done to the NPP that you suffered for so much to make it an attractive party. Was this the type of NPP you envisioned from 1992 all the way to 2001 and 2009 when you left office? We will be back to talk about you properly, sir. Enjoy your birthday for now. # Focus”
