Veteran Nollywood performer Kanayo O. Kanayo put out a special plea on behalf of his son, who is getting ready to move to America for school.
The actor posted a video of his son, who had been accepted to a university in the United States of America, on his Instagram page on Friday, July 7, 2023. In the video, he shows his pride and prays fervently for his son.
In his prayer, the actor asked particularly that, despite cultural pressures on this new path, his kid preserve his identity and orientation as a “He.”
In addition, Kanayo emphasized the importance of academic success above tattoos and urged his son to preserve the principles taught in him during his childhood in his prayer.
In his words: “America will be proud of you. Your achievements will cause America to celebrate you. You will imbibe the good of the land and eat the good therefrom. . You will continue to be a HE from Ezinihitte Mbaise in Nigeria. Your focus shall be on your books and job NOT ON TATTOS. May you never depart from your upbringing. DO NOT FORGET GOD.
