The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 elections, John Mahama has indicated that when he comes back to power in 2025, his government will cancel the controversial E-Levy.
John Mahama made this known during a recent submission he delivered at the Ghana At A Crossroads event and his statement was reiterated by the member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Hon. Sam Dzata George.
The post that Sam George made reads;
“I believe the announcement by @JDMahama that the next NDC government in 2025 would SCRAP the obnoxious e-Levy settles the minds of all who have asked me the question. The Boss has spoken. End of discussion. 🦁🇬🇭💪🏾”
