Cecilia Marfo has finally come out to deny the allegations that she was sacked from the Pentecost church.
The famous Ghanaian Gospel musician, worshipper, and Evangelist, Cecilia Marfo was in the news in the year 2014 and it was all about an allegation that the Church of Pentecost suspended the singer from the church because she did what the Church is against and that is setting up a prayer camp.
The news of Cecilia Marfo’s sacking or suspension began to spread after the then Ashaiman Area Head of the church of Pentecost, Apostle Nene Amegatcher in an interview made it known that the gospel artist had to be suspended from the church because she breached the policy of the church and also lied to the church that she was not opening a prayer camp.
Apostle Nene also went on to make it clear that Cecilia Marfo was suspended from partaking in any activities the Church of Pentecost was involved in, and this brought the spread of her suspension from the Church.
Now, Cecilia Marfo was recently interviewed by Abeiku Santana on Okay FM where the Ghanaian Gospel Musician also insisted that she was not suspended from the church of Pentecost.
According to the famous Cecilia Marfo, she paid her tithe to the church from 2008 to 2018.
“I wasn’t suspended like it was widely spread. I used to go and pay my tithe and Apostle Professor Kwadwo Ninfour Opoku Onyinah insisted that he had not suspended me so I was not suspended” she said.
