
Former Ghanaian MP Ignatius Baffour Awuah blamed for inciting fans leading to the death of Kotoko fan
Supporters of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have blamed former Ghanaian MP Ignatius Baffour Awuah, the immediate past Minister for Employment, Labour Relations, and Pensions, who also doubles as the financier of Nsoatreman FC, along with his alleged girlfriend, for the death of their team’s supporter, Frimpong Yaw Francis, popularly known as Pooley.
Yaw Frimpong Francis known to the populace as Pooley is a staunch supporter of the porcupine warriors, Asante Kotoko who tragically lost his life in a fan brawl at Nsoatreman over the weekend.
As Ghanaians, supporters of the club, and his family mourn his loss, some supporters of Asante Kotoko believe that the bankroller of Nsoatreman FC, Ignatius Baffour Awuah is to be blamed for the death of Pooley and needs to be arrested by the Police.
They claim that Ignatius Awuah incited his supporters.
