Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, well known as Funny Face in the entertainment world and a humorous actor and comedian from Ghana, has described how he attempted suicide with rat poison amid times of melancholy and stress.
Recall that the comedic actor,Funny Face released a statement on social media expressing his desire to end his life owing to the despair he was experiencing as a result of his problems with his baby mama, Vanessa, and his failed romances.
The result of his relationship with Vanessa led the traumatized father of twins to desire to terminate his suffering once and for all. He hurled accusations at a number of Ghanaian public figures, alleging that they were to blame for his problems and that some of them had deserted him when he was most in need.

Speaking at Lexi De Comic’s “2 Cute To Be Mute” at the National Theatre, Funny Face disclosed that during his depressive phase, he had considered using rat poison to terminate his life.
He claimed to have gone to the shop to buy the rat poison, which was priced at GH80, but he actually paid GH100 to the seller. He realized he was not prepared to pass away and abandoned the thought of killing himself.
He claimed that while waiting for the vendor to return his change of GHc20, he had to reconsider his choice and decided he was not yet ready to leave this world.
