The 4th Edition of Western Gospel Awards unfolded with greatness on November 10, 2024, at the Word of Life Assemblies of God, creating an atmosphere of splendor and celebration.
The atmosphere was filled with anticipation as patrons took their seats, ready for an evening that would celebrate excellence in the Western Gospel Music space.
Ministerial Efua Black was adjudged the overall artiste of the year on the biggest night of Gospel celebration in the Western Region.
The night saw Efua Black winning three awards in the categories of female artiste of the year, songwriter, and overall artiste of the year.
Efua Black whose name has become a household name in the West and its environs expressed an appreciation to God, the organizers, and everyone who supported her.

The biggest night of Gospel celebration in the Western Region had a full spectacle as the region’s Representative in Ghana’s seat of Parliament in the person of HON. KWABENA OKYERE DARKOH – MENSAH (WESTERN REGIONAL MINISTER & MP FOR TAKORADI) was present and also shared the grand stage as he presented the LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD to
LEGENDARY duo TAGOE SISTERS.
The 4th Edition Western Gospel Awards was more than an event; it was a testament to the resilience, talent, and collective spirit within the gospel music industry in the Western region.
