Fella Makafui has once again created a name for herself as the main character in the film “Anikulapo,” which will be shown in more than 191 countries on Netflix.
Ghana will be the location of Season 2 filming for the critically acclaimed Nigerian film, according to a June 2018 announcement from producer Kunle Afolayan.

Juliet Asante, Chief Executive Officer of the National Film Authority (NFA), revealed Fella‘s involvement in the film with a photo of the actress in motion in a post on Monday, October 7.
In order to provide Ghanaian talent with opportunities on the international arena, Ghana aims to cooperate with other African nations.
The series, directed by renowned filmmaker Kunle Afolayan, is greenlit by Netflix and will be available in over 191 countries, positioning Ghana as a growing destination for film production under the NFA’s #ShootInGhana agenda.
Asante expressed her gratitude for the support from the Ministry of Tourism, the Ghana Tourism Authority, and the Ghana Museums & Monuments Board, as well as Kunle Afolayan’s willingness to collaborate on this project.
She extoled Fella Makafui for her hard work and dedication, particularly her commitment to learning the Yoruba language for her role.
