Gavin McInnes is a controversial comedian, writer and political commentator, born July 17, 1970 in Britain, but raised in Canada – he has dual British and Canadian nationality. He attended Carleton University and earned a degree in English Literature, as well as another degree in Business Administration from Concordia University.

His mother is a retired business teacher and his father is a former vice-president of the Canadian Defense Company.
