The Nigerian Police Force has arrested a Chinese man for slaughtering a lady who refused to accept his love proposal.
According to social media reports, the event happened on Friday night in Kabuga quarters (Dorayi Babba), Gwale local government area, Kano State.
According to Kano Command Police Spokesman, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, who confirmed the event, the suspect, Geng, 47, committed the murder after leaping the building’s fence to gain entrance to the property where he butchered the victim to death.
The suspect said that the deceased, who was his girlfriend, duped him after pledging to marry him after he had lavished her with gifts.
According to the suspect, he was depressed after being duped by his late fiancée, which led to the conduct he perpetrated at the deceased’s home.
Angry Social media users are currently calling for justice for the lady known as Ummukulsum, who died in such agony.
