Ghanaian right-back Andy Yiadom wins Reading’s player of the season
Ghanaian International Andy Yiadom has been voted as Reading’s player of the season. The right-back stood out among his peers and he has been awarded as the player of the season.
Only Josh Laurent started more games, and played more minutes for Reading than Andy Yiadom in the Championship this season
Yiadom also ranks 2nd in the league for most tackles won (59) this season

Yiadom helped Ghana to gain qualifications for this year’s world cup in Qatar after overcoming their Nigerian counterparts.
In the course of the season, when Reading went without a league win from November to February, Yiadom was the only player to engage the fans during their poor run
The next week, he won a penalty to give them their first home win in 2022
