Ama Governor’s hopes of being invited to the BAR were dashed once more when the General Legal Council stated in a letter on October 18, 2023, that she could not be called to the BAR.
According to the GLC, they got a letter on March 13, 2023, instructing them to monitor Ama Governor’s behavior while she waits to be called BAR, which they did.
It went on to say that following a meeting to finalize Ama Governor’s case in preparation for the event on October 20, 2023, they (GLC) decided she couldn’t be called to the BAR.
The letter stated that she failed to live in accordance with the standard they expected from her and as such she can’t be called to the BAR.
