Black Stars Defender Alexander Djiku nears La Liga switch
Widespread media reports in Spain claim Sevilla & Strasbourg have reached an agreement for the transfer of Ghana defender Alexander Djiku (27).
Deal is reported to be a 3-year contract for €7million.
Fulham were also interested but Sevilla seem to be ahead of Fulham in negotiating for the defender.
Alexander Djiku completed more passes into the final third (140), won more tackles (40) and had a higher aerial duel win percentage (71.2%) than any other Sevilla defender last season
Djiku helped Strasbourg to attain the 6th position in the French Ligue 1 with the defender playing 2,694 minutes and scoring just a goal for his side.
