The President of the Republic, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has thoughtfully put forward his warm wishes to Ghanaians during this Christmas season, wishing them the best of regards, along with everything good this year has to offer.
In a video recording posted on December 24, Christians Eve, the President encouraged individuals who are socially well off and established, to embark on acts of kindness, by reaching out to the poor and the needy, during this season.
“Sunday, the 25th of December Christians worldwide will celebrate Christmas, the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
“On behalf of the government, my wife Rebecca, the First Lady, my daughters, my grandchildren, and my entire family I send warm greetings and best wishes for the season to all Ghanaians.
“Those who are in a fortunate position, remember to lend a helping hand to those who are in need,” President Akufo-Addo emphasized.
The President additionally urged Ghanaians to get ready to make sacrifices for the country to arise triumphant, amidst the financial difficulties, in order for the government to reach its intended goal and potential.
“Let us be prepared to make the sacrifices that will enable us to build a happy, progressive, prosperous Ghana we all desire. I urge all of us to celebrate the season safely and responsibly,” President Akufo-Addo expressed.
