Legendary Ghanaian musician, Sonni Kwabena Amoako Akoanor who is well known in showbiz as Sonni Balli has been confirmed dead.
Per what we gathered, he died a few hours ago and the initial cause of death is an alleged cardiac arrest, however, we are digging to bring up more updates!!!
Sonni Balli is credited with being the man who exposed LINDA hitmaker, Samini to the music terrain. In one of his numerous interviews, he revealed how he got an encounter with Samini. In the interview, he indicated that he was with the veteran hiplife musician, Nana King when he realized that Samini was having a unique talent hidden in him.
He had the interview on Cape Coast-based radio station, Kastle FM when he made this known. In his submission, he noted that he does not take the credit for giving Samini who was then known as Batman exposure but rather God.
He stated that he was at a place when Samini was displaying his talent and at that time he used to work with Nana King and some other people who needed such great talents to work with.
