4 ‘kings’ to Headline Comedy Express
The four “kings,” impersonators of Kwami Eugene, King Promise, Mr. Drew, and Medikal, will wow comic lovers with “Comedy Express,” which will be hosted by Ghanaian comedian DKB.
The event, which is recognized as Ghana’s premier monthly comedy performance, is scheduled to take place at the Snap Cinema in Accra on July 7, 2023.
In recent months, there has been an increase in persons claiming to look like well-known celebrities, which has provoked discussions among the general population. Some of the lookalike contestants have gotten accolades, which has elevated their popularity.
On the other side, there are others who have come under fire or criticism for trying to cash in on someone else’s good looks or for trying to trick people into thinking they are a famous lookalike.
Notable among these individuals are the 4Kings – the lookalikes of King Promise, Kuami Eugene, Medikal and Mr. Drew – who would be appearing on stage on this edition of the Comedy Express.
Also performing are renowned and witty comedians OB Amponsah, Comedian Waris, MJ the Comedian and DKB.
