Phobians to battle the hunters for MTN FA Cup glory
The semifinals of the MTN FA Cup took place over the weekend as Hearts of Oak took on Dreams FC at the Accra sports stadium on Saturday.
Goals from Yorke, Afriyie Barnie and Suraj gave the Phobians a 3:2 win over Dreams FC as Samuel Boadu’s team made it to the finals of the FA Cup the second time in a role.
Coach Mingle’s Bechem United also welcomed Aduana stars at the Berekum Gsolden City Park on Sunday afternoon. The Hunter took an early lead through striker Emmanuel Avornyo on the 16th minute.
Talisman Augustine Okrah doubled the lead for the hunters on the 25th minute. The 2 goals were enough to qualify the hunters to the finals of the MTN FA cup.
Beckham United faces tough opposition in Hearts of Oak as the Phobians has their eyes set on winning the FA cup to qualify for Africa.
