Salim Adams joins Fc Cincinnati 2 on loan after impressive season with Hearts of Oak

FC Cincinnati has announced the signing of young Hearts of Oak midfielder Salim Adams on a season-long loan.

Salim Adams will immediately join Cincinnati on loan and then move on to TSG Hoffenheim as a part of the relationships forged between FC Cincinnati, TSG Hoffenheim in the German Bundesliga, and Hearts of Oak.

Salim Adams becomes the first player to arrive from Hearts of Oak as part of the Common Value Club Alliance.

“I’m excited to welcome Salim to FC Cincinnati,” said Tyrone Marshall, Head Coach of Cincinnati 2.

“He’s a promising midfielder who will be an excellent addition to our group and to the environment we’re trying to create.”

Salim has three goals in his 23 appearances in defensive midfield for the Phobians in the Ghana premier league this season.

He won the hearts of many Ghanaians when he was named the man-of-the-match in the 2022 President’s Cup when Hearts beat bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko SC 2:1 to lift the ceremonial title.

Adams scored on his debut for Hearts in the CAF Champions League against Guinean club CI Kamsar in Accra.

Salim joined Hearts at the beginning of the 2021-22 campaign on loan from second-tier side New Edubiase United FC and later made the deal permanent after an amazing spell with the Phobians
