Emily Blunt expects to see her husband John Krasinski in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie playing Reed Richards.
With John Krasinski portraying the Earth-838 version of Reed Richards, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness earlier this year featured the first appearance of a significant Fantastic Four character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Krasinki’s future as Reed is in doubt because this iteration of the character only had a brief amount of screen time before being killed off by Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen.
Emily Blunt was recently questioned if we will see her husband John Krasinski return as Reed Richards in the upcoming Marvel film The Fantastic Four. She said the following to the HeyUGuys staff:
“I hope so. I hope so. You never know. I was really happy for him because I think he’s a huge fan. And I understand why it’s such an ardent and passionate religion for people. people. It’s a big part of our cinematic history now. So he was thrilled.
Emily Blunt herself was a fan favorite for the role of Reed’s wife, Sue Storm, but the actress has made it clear she has no interest in comic book movies. Blunt was actually Marvel’s first choice for the role of Black Widow in the 2010s. iron man 2an opportunity she had to pass up due to scheduling conflicts with the Jack Black star Gulliver’s Travels.
Wanda Vision director Matt Shakman is set to direct the Fantastic Four movie for Marvel. The script for the film is currently being written by Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer, but the project is still a long way off as it was recently pushed back to 2025.
