Ghana as a country is blessed with great minds, especially with the youth, and this was demonstrated at the just-ended STEMnovation event where young and energetic innovators came together to show what they have during the Ghana Report Jobs & Entrepreneurship Fair.
This great was made possible by the STEMnovation and the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), which enabled young inventors from Ghana’s second-cycle institutions to showcase their creative projects and seek funding opportunities to turn their innovative ideas into practical solutions.
The Coordinator of The Ghana Report Jobs & Entrepreneurship Fair, Adib Saani spoke on behalf of Rashida Saani, the CEO of The Ghana Report.
He reaffirmed her opinion that the majority of the nation’s human resource potential consists of young people, highlighting the necessity of utilizing this advantage for the advancement of the country.
She asserts that to combat youth unemployment and assist young innovators in turning their ideas into practical solutions, public-private collaborations are essential.
Additionally, Rashida Saani emphasized the vital role STEM education plays in the advancement of the country, noting that huge social and economic advancements might result from innovations in these sectors.
“We cannot build a prosperous future for Ghana without investing in our youth and empowering them with the tools to innovate,” she said.
