Nollywood is full of drama again, this time involving popular stars Regina Daniels and Angela Okorie.
After Angela Okorie hosted an emotional Instagram Live session, the online fight was triggered. She spoke during the session about letting go of her differences with Mercy Johnson and added that she had a serious illness.
At the same moment that fans were still trying to process Angela’s message, Regina Daniels fired back with a sharp clapback.
On social media, Regina claimed that Angela had once chased her husband, billionaire businessman and politician Ned Nwoko. Regina, who is now married to Nwoko, was clear that she saw Angela’s comments as “bitterness” coming in the guise of “wisdom.”
“He is unlike any other old man, which I appreciate,” Regina wrote about her husband.
“He holds the qualities your kind looks for but cannot get hold of. I could go on and explain to everyone just how you were trying to catch this same man again.“
The statement led to a big online argument, as fans argued about whether Regina was being truthful or overly harsh.

However, Regina kept going. She continued to comment, telling Angela to not compare their situations.
“Age? She told him, “It doesn’t matter, it’s just a number.” The most important thing is the way you have lived, the things you have built and who you are.
Regina went further by targeting Angela’s success in the entertainment industry, pointedly saying she had done more in acting and music while avoiding drama.
“I’ve made it through everything I’ve faced with style, not shame and your bitterness will never reach those moments,” she wrote and stopped there, perhaps to give the words a chance to be felt or to allow for further confrontation.
At this time, Angela Okorie has not answered the allegations directly. Twitter and Instagram are full of conversations using hashtags about both actresses. A number of viewers applauded Regina for standing up for herself and her family, but others thought her statements were too harsh.
