The lawyers for award-winning rapper, Mr. Adu Frimpong who is known as Medikal in showbiz have reportedly left the rapper’s camp.
Per what we gathered, they have resigned from helping him get justice in court as the rapper is still in court after being dragged to court over his gun-wielding incident.
The rapper appeared in court today and Medikal who had earlier pleaded not guilty reportedly admitted that he is guilty and this got his lawyer very angry.
The incident, according to an Angel FM court correspondent, shocked his lawyers and what got them angry was the fact that the lawyers claimed the musician failed to inform them about his decision to admit being guilty.
This made them decide that they will not represent him again, and upon his guilty plea, he was subsequently slapped with a GHC 3600 fine for unlawful public display of gun.
The latest development indicates that if the rapper fails to pay the fine, he will serve nine months in jail.
