Marc Bernal’s Club career
Bernal, who was raised at CE Berga and Gimnàstic Manresa, was born in Berga, Barcelona, Catalonia. At the age of six, he transferred to La Masia and advanced through their youth programs.
He inked his first professional deal with Barcelona on June 23, 2023, and it lasted until 2026. On August 27, 2023, he played his senior and professional debut for Barcelona Atlètic against Logroñés in a 1-0 Primera Federación loss.
On October 22, 2023, he scored his first two goals as a professional with Barcelona Athletic in a 3-0 victory over Sestao. On August 17, 2024, in Mestalla (València), he played in his first official match. His age was seventeen.
Marc Bernal’s International Career
In October 2022, Bernal received a call-up to the Spain U16s training camp. He was invited to a Spain U18 training camp in August of 2023. He was added to the Spain U-17 team’s final roster for the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2023.
He was named to the final squad for the Spain U17s at the 2024 UEFA European Under-17 Championship
