‘When I Declare My Assets Ghanaians Would Be Shocked, Sir John’s Will Is Even Small’ – Kennedy Agyapong

Ghanaian politician, Kennedy Agyapong has stated that when he declares his assets, Ghanaians will have no option but to be shocked.

According to him, Sir John’s will is a peanut in his eye and he made this known in a recent submission to supporters of the NPP in the United States of America.

This comes just a few days after the will of the former CEO of the Forestry Commission, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie who is widely known as Sir John hit the public domain. The will after going viral sparked controversies and what really shocked Ghanaians was portions of the Achimota Forest being captured in the will.

Reacting to this, the member of parliament for the constituents of Assin Central said it was needless for the Ghanaians to react that way adding that it might be that it is the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) who is trying to make it a big issue.

In his submission, he said;

“Whatever NDC is setting as an agenda, it will come to haunt us. Sometimes there is no truth in it and so we have to be careful with Sir John’s issue of six plots. Me, when I declare my assets you would be shocked because when I was reading Sir John’s Will I said but this is peanut. “[lf] I put myself in the person’s shoes that if am dead today, is this what is going to happen even within my own party? So we have to be careful.”
