Ghana maintain’s interim Black Stars technical team for the 2022 world cup

Ghana to go to the world cup with current interim technical team

The Ghana Football Association has confirmed the extension of contract for coaches Otto Addo, Chris Hughton, George Boateng and Did Dramani until the end of December 2022.

The quartet who masterminded the black stars qualification to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament will stay on to see to the black stars preparation to the world cup, the 2023 AFCON qualifiers and the world cup itself.

The GFA put together a four-man technical team early this year to help see Ghana through the world cup qualifier playoffs against Nigeria. The team succeeded in qualifying Ghana for the the mundial in Qatar.

A team of Otto Addo, Mashud Didi Dramani, George Boateng and Chris Houghton have been tasked to see the black stars through the 2023 AFCON qualifiers and the world cup which is set to kick off in November.

Their roles and hierarchy remains the same.
Otto Addo – Head Coach
Didi Dramani – Assistant Coach
George Boateng – Assistant Coach
Chris Houghton – Technical Adviser
