Olympique Lyon signs Ernest Nuamah permanently
Black Stars winger Ernest Nuamah has officially joined French giants Olympique Lyon permanently for the 2024/2025 season.
Ernest Nuamah joined the seven times Ligue 1 winners on loan from Belgian top flight side RWD Molenbeek after he was signed from FC Nordsjaelland for €18 million.
Nuamah joins permanently on a four-year contract and is expected to be with the French giants till 2028. The pacey Black Stars winger featured in 29 league matches for Lyon, scoring 3 times and assisting on 2 different occasions.
Nuamah is a product of the popular Right to Dream football academy in Ghana. He came into the lamplight when he helped the black Meteors to secure qualification to the Africa U-23 tournament in Morocco.
He has been an integral member of the Ghana national team since making his debut in 2023.
