Ashanti Gold demoted to Division Two after being found guilty of Match Manipulation of their 2020/21 matchday 34 game against Inter Allies.
President of Ashgold Kwaku Frimpong banned 10 years from all football related activities and fined 100k by Ghana FA
His son, Emmanuel Frimpong, who is the CEO, is banned 8 years and fined GHS50k for their involvement in match manipulation
Ashanti gold Demoted to Division 2 and fined 1 Billions Old cedis
Champion banned for 10 years and fined for 1 billion old cedis

Thomas Duah and Gee Aidoo banned for 2 years respectively
7 ashgold players banned for 2 years each
Samed Mohammed and Seth Osei banned for 2 and Half years each
4 other players and Nana Kwasi Darling who failed to appear before the committee banned for 3 years Each
Hashim Musah, the player who revealled the whole deal was banned for 2 years, but has been mitigated to 6months for his “heroic” stunt.
